Class Description:

Company class focuses on our signature style blending vernacular and classical jazz dance in a virtuosic, high energy and highly musical context. We will explore the African Roots of Jazz, Vernacular Jazz of the Swing Era, Classical Jazz, and Jazz Funk over the six weeks. Emphasis placed on musicality, articulation, and the freedom and community found in jazz dance.
